This please for sure. Keeping my eyes on target yet being able to see vital information is key. Especially with things like the forge gun. |

Like the RR, I know when to charge it for when those folks like to hide around corners and try to use the charge factor of my RR against me.
It is the only downside the RR has what so ever. It is the only way to overcome RR users I find yet like you say you can work around this and still make it work for you in CQC. I find this wrong considering it is meant to be a long range rifle not a CQC blaster. |

It is the only way to overcome RR users I find yet like you say you can work around this and still make it work for you in CQC. I find this wrong considering it is meant to be a long range rifle not a CQC blaster. It's meant to be challenging to use in CQC, and also less effective in CQC than any other rifle (if only marginally). That doesn't mean it's supposed to be useless in CQC. It's still a rifle, and all the rifles will have a very similar profile relative to other types of weapons, meaning the advantages/disadvantages between the four of them will be very slight and will mostly depend on how you use them. The fact that it's still just as effective as the CQC rifle (It is, I used it and it's equal if not better to the AR) while still having more range is just absurd. There is no reason to use the AR when rifles like the RR exist.
That's my point too. Ok maybe it can be argued that the combat rifle, specifically the ACR can outperform the RR in close quarters however the blaster rifle (AR) is meant to be the top dog for close range fights. At least according to EVE lore. |
